This Feels Like Déjà Vu All Over Again

Thanks to Mark Curran, an SVP with Palmetto Cooperative Services (our hostel sponsors!) for writing this fantastic guest post on the story of his own crashing experience:
The year was 1991 and US financial markets were reeling from the continuing Savings & Loan crisis. Taxpayers were forced to accept a huge government bailout of the [...]

The One Day Crash the GAC T-shirt Caption Contest

The Awesomeness:
The ladies and gents at CU Swag & PTP New Media are sponsoring Crash the GAC tshirts for our group.
The Predicament:

80s Mixtape

If you were to make your own 80s mixtape for Crash the GAC, what would be on it?

WHAT IS THE GAC?

CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference is one of the largest conferences in the credit union industry.

Each year, hundreds of some of the brightest and most influential minds in our industry descend on Washington DC to network with peers, hear from key legislative and political leaders, and experience a variety of sessions on credit unions' hot issues.

"CRASH?"

Yup. Crash. The idea began as a subversive conference for credit union professionals under 30 around the proper conference, including Crash Sessions lead by industry thought leaders and boatloads of networking opportunities.

Since then, CUNA's Center for Professional Development has also opened up opportunities for our group to attend the full conference through a scholarship application program.

Meaning we've essentially become two events for the price of none.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

If you're ready to go, click here to reserve your spot OR add your name to the waiting list, as the case may be.

If you're not sure yet, check out the rough agenda, session facilitators, or drop Brent a line to learn more.
